In mid 2013 the brewery altered their recipe for this beer, changing it from a bitter to a pale ale. (The RateBeer entry for the bitter is now retired.)

In short: citrusy light bitter ale.
Pours little hazy pale gold, hay, with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Citrusy, herbal aromas. Light body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is moderate bitter, citrusy, some herbal, british malts profiled. Quite refreshing and light, nice session beer, maybe even more enjoyable in summer.

330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Slightly hazy amber color. Small size, white head, stays. Mild pine, citrus, hops in aroma. Watery hoppy brew. I’ve had that one before. Or tens of beers similar to that. Not interested.

330ml bottle (Cambridge Wine Merchants, Cambridge)
Stinky rough aroma, some mouldiness, earthy and dirty hops. Pale, hazy, brief frothy head. Bland watery palate, decent carbonation. Some aromatic hops, some bitter hops, some water. No reason for this beer to exist. This is aimed at people who think that "changing it from a bitter to a pale ale" means something. Changed from a fullish flavour pale ale to a watery pale ale with bugger all apart from unbalanced hopping and some minerals, more like. Scroll right past this. Hate the yeast they’ve used here. US05, or worse?

On tap at What’s Brewing. A clear, golden beer topped by a medium sized white head. Pine cones, some grapefruit peel and a touch of pale malts in the aroma. The flavor has a nice bitterness lasting for a good while, with some pale malts in the back. Grapefruit and green pine cones too. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a lasting finish. A very refreshing and nice beer, could easily down a few of these every now and then. 141101

Can. Hazy gold pour with lacy, tenacious white head. Aroma is dank, nice and hoppy, tons of weed, light pine, catty, citrus, really dank. Taste is hoppy, not really bitter but again quite dank, weedy, herbal and leafy bitterness, very light maltiness. Palate is light, slightly oily, nice body, good carbonation. Good stuff.

Can. Yellow, hazy with big but big bubbled head. Aroma: almost nothing some resin, some white fruits. Taste: Dry with low bitterness. Flavor of lychee with some grapefruit. Such light beer sould be very drinkable and refreshing, but it is not. I am quite dissapointed, buying US beers in Poland is nonsense if the beer is not ment for long aging. Edit: oh, this beer is english.
