In mid 2013 the brewery altered their recipe for this beer, changing it from a bitter to a pale ale. (The RateBeer entry for the bitter is now retired.)

330 ml can from Birra+ (BB 03-2015). Deep golden yellow, slightly hazy, with a big, creamy and persistent bright white head. Good lacings. Nicely hoppy, very intense and moderately fresh. Pretty citrusy forward, despite some piney and resinous presence. Like many session IPA it’s rather thin, but less so. Extremely refreshing and thirst quenching, pretty bitter upfront, but doesn’t linger for too long. Fruity (think orange marmelade), slightly tropical and hoppy taste, perfectly clean. Average to lively carbonation, light body, slightly creamy texture. A tad less fizzy and it could be much better, but still, it’s good!

Can from Craft Beer Co Brixton. Very pale straw gold with lasting head and lace. Graprefruit and tropical fruit aroma with some bready yeasty essence. Mild tropical fruit sweetness with medium assertive grapefruit rind citrus bitterness. Light body but not watery thank to fine carbo and fresh hoppiness. Excellent for style,

330 ml can. BB 09/05/15. From alesbymail.co.uk.
From my advent calendar door #4. Hazy pale yellow colour with a small small foamy white head. Fruity hoppy aroma with mild bitterness and malty dryness. Yummy! Fresh fruity and piney hops, mild bitterness, malty dryness and some mineral notes in the flavour. Tasty.

Clear, pale straw. Rocky white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Mellow, fruity flavour, instant dryness but rather short. Clean and refreshing though.

Can, 4.3%. Good grapefruity aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Very big stable rocky white head. The flavour is grapefruity with a bit of paper and a good mineraly finish.
