In mid 2013 the brewery altered their recipe for this beer, changing it from a bitter to a pale ale. (The RateBeer entry for the bitter is now retired.)

This beer is mostly available on keg and in bottle.

Can from Wild Card Brewery Tap Room on 13th Sep 2014. Hazy yellow body, with a big, well formed white head. Aroma of citrus fruits (tangerine, lemon and lime), some mango too. Tastes of those aforementioned citrus fruits with a pink Grapefruit thrown in for good measure! So a fairly sour, citrusy brew all round then.

From a can. Cloudy golden and with a large white head. The strong citrus aroma hits you straight away, and it continues in the taste. Very hoppy and refreshing. Great beer

Aroma is excellent citrus grapefruit. Taste is similar. The main problem is weak body. Its a bit too watery this instead of refreshing. But still a very nice beer

Can from AlesByMail.co.uk. Yellow, hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, grass, candy. Tastes of grapefruit, tangerine, some tropical fruits, grass, some pine, earth, biscuit. Moutfeel is light, slick, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes bitter, slightly dry, with lemon zest, some fruits and some malt notes. Nice one. Overall nothing special, but a very solid Session Ale with a good balance and some nice earthy notes, that I also tasted in other Beavertown ales.
