In mid 2013 the brewery altered their recipe for this beer, changing it from a bitter to a pale ale. (The RateBeer entry for the bitter is now retired.)

Can from Clapton Craft. Another amazing beer from Beavertown. Lovely hoppy aroma. Citrus fruit nose. Taste is grapefruitly bitter. Dry finish. Epic beer :)

Gushed from the can with an over-sized off-white head. Aroma at first very British, then lemon, dirt, bread, pine. Light sessionable and drinkable ale but the mouthfeel is watery at the front, soapy at the back, and that just ain’t my thang.

Pours very pale, aroma of floral hops. Taste is a little watery, floral hops light body.

A nouveau, j’aime vraiment ça. il y a une cohérence véritable entre le design et le contenu. Bien houblonée et pas mal citronné, c’est vraiment très chouette et ça tire vers la saison ou la sour gentillette. Impeccable !

330ml can pours a hazy gold with white head showing decent retention. Big, fresh nose of pine and citrus with a bit of tropical fruit. Fruit does not come through enough on the taste. A slightly bitter finish but everything is just a bit watery and thin. Easily drinkable but from a great aroma it just does not live up to the promise.

Really tasty session ipa, with great hop aroma and a real hop finish, despite it’s low abv .

Canned. 33cl sample. @ Bread & Meat, Cambridge. The aroma has pine, light grapefruit, some biscuit, bit grass. Clear, golden coloured beer with a rocky, white head. The taste is light bitter, has some citrus, pine and biscuit/grain. Easy drinking, light bodied beer with above average carbonation.

33cl bottle from beer52.com. Pale straw with a billowing white head; rich tropical fruit aroma; rather thin and soapy in the mouth, with less fruit than expected - but some mango, papaya and pineapple coming through; before the whole thing just dies away completely, leaving a weak fruit squash finish. Rather disappointing.

Can. Hazy yellow gold with a large foam. Aromas are sudsy pine with oranges and yeast. Leafy with yeast and mellow grapefruit. Flavours are oranges with bitter, woody pine and citrus rind. Grassy with a dry finish. Decent.

Can. Very fruity aroma with citrus and herbs. Light in colour, nice lacing. Refreshing beer with minimal sweetness but perceptible bitterness. Like it.
