Smog Rocket Smoked Porter - Thick, dark & Robust
Inspired by the Industrial Revolution and the Steam Train.
Back in those days, the Porter was the everyday toast of the working-class masses. Let’s raise a glass to the people that made Britain ’Great’.

Porter. The way it’s meant to be.

This is quite simply a great bottled beer, despite having the appearance of something I just drained out of the motorbike sump. To be fair, Porter is probably getting close to my favourite style, so I may be a little biased....

Small greyish-yellow head over black beer. Sweetish, brown sugar, wood, charcoal and - something buttery or coffeemilk. Sweet-bitterish, woody, bit severe but seriously empty... Bit smoked, indeed. Quite watery, finish as cold mocha. Maybe it is historical, but I harboured higher hopes for this one.
