Smog Rocket Smoked Porter - Thick, dark & Robust
Inspired by the Industrial Revolution and the Steam Train.
Back in those days, the Porter was the everyday toast of the working-class masses. Let’s raise a glass to the people that made Britain ’Great’.

Porter. The way it’s meant to be.

Piana be?owa, do?? obfita lecz krótkotrwa?a. Aromat delikatnej czekolady i kawy zbo?owej. By? mo?e moje oczekiwania by?y zbyt wysokie w stosunku do tego piwa, a mo?e po prostu brakuje mu jeszcze troch?.

Can. Pours black with a very dark, thick head. Smell is beechwood, and maybe lager yeast (?) Scents of coal as well. Taste is mild malty, smooth and viscous. Finishes a bit harsh, probably served too cold. Fantastic.

bottle @ home. Appearance: pours clear dark brown/black with ok off-white soapy head with some acing. aroma/taste: caramel, chocolate, smoke and herbal notes. palette: high carbonation almost sparkling, medium body, some caramel sweetness, average bitterness, dry finish, medium duration and a fizzy texture. Overall: Decent porter, but not much smoke considering its name

(Beavertown Smog Rocket) Can 330 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 5.4% Totally black pour, almost two fingers of dark beige thick head, with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Not so much smoke as I expected on the aroma, not necessarily bad of course. Milky chocolate, some hoppy notes. Taste has faint traces of smoke, but again, more milky chocolate than anything else. Roasted malts on the finish with a mild but long lasting bitterness. Medium thin body, average carbonation. If you expect smoke though you might be disappointed but a good porter all in all.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, dark copper beer with a nice amount of off white head on top. Aroma is toasty, slightly smoked and loads of malts. Fairly thin in the aroma, but loads of smoke present in the flavor. Alongside a sweet, malty the base the smokey sensation balances out the beer and adds another layer of flavors. So low in alcohol, yet so nicely balanced and quite full flavored. Aftertaste is long, sweet and has a soft carbonation. Good stuff.
