Bottled. An amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of nutmeg, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of nutmeg, straw, and alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Big thanks to Richthevillan for this bottle. Hazy dark amber beer with small head. Aroma of cinnamon and pumpkin. Taste is pumpkin. Cinnamon, licorice and a little sweet candy. A little oil on the palate. Very nice first Pumpkin beer for me, a lot better than I expected.

Bottle. Muted red colour with nice head. Big sweet aroma - boiled sweets - cough drops and rhubarb and custard. Caramel, shortcrust pastry, hint of spice (nutmeg) and some sour fruit. Oily texture and a soft carbonation.

330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a shaker glass. Dark sunrise orange, pretty clear, not much head to speak of, just a small ring of off-white foam. Pretty intense and unique aroma, herbal and almost balsamic: mint, cinnamon, obviously pumpkin as well. Like an alchermes liquor with a touch of mint and pumpkin. Same impressions in the taste, spicy but fortunately not at all overly sweet. Light astringency and very very mild bitterness in the far background. No trace of the alchool, just a pleasent, light warming sensation. Even at room temperature, it still remains balanced and clean tasting. Soft carbonation, medium body and oily texture. First ever pumpkin ale, not bad at all!

Hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is light and dry.and crispy. Fair bit of lactose here. Good pumpkin tempered by a very well judged amount of spice, that would be a light toich then! Comes together well in to a juicy pumpkin beer with a semi dry finish.

worldbeertaste (1608) - AUSTRIA - FEB 26, 2014
Orange with a white, frothy, lacy, ring, lasting head. Nice spicy smell with pumpkin, and a bit of pie in the background. Medium to full oily body. Tastes of sweet frothy black malt, liquorish and a mild pumpkin finish. Not bad. More pumpkin in the smell than the taste.
