3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Nose is strongly yoghurt, slight lemon and clementine, slight rye and honey. Appearance is uninviting, a cloudy orange. Taste is acidic leading to lemon, slight green apple and lettuce. Very short finish with slight honey. Mouthfeel is very thin with slight carbonation.
It is not a style I have had before, so can;t distinguish between my thoughts on the beer from thoughts on the style. Quaffable but not spectacular.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. The best Kvass I’ve ever drunk. Of the two I’ve ever drunk. Odd. Thin. Like a lemon flavoured yoghurt. Not one to revisit.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at home from ales by mail
Fairly flat dark amber with no head. Sweet caramel, diacetyl and damp cardboard on the nose. Fairly tart, thin battery acid, little else. Not good and unlike the Kvass I’ve thus far tried, more wheat free berlinner weisse.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Brownish orange - very murky depending on how much of the crap at the bottom you pour in. No head. This tastes of cooking apples, sour yet, very sharp with a sherbet like fizz that makes your gums ache. Nice sweet doughy finish that lingers with a touch of lemon bon bon. Can’t say it’s my favourite style, but I enjoyed it. Probably very good with some cheese and biscuits. I fancy it with fish and chips.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Broken, sour, not good, horrible, vinegar, bad vinagar, off milk, just not right. I could go on but it was just horrible.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours murky golden brown with a ring off white head. Aroma of tart fruits, citrus, weird herbs, intense tart cooking apples. Flavour is moderate to heavy acidic and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Strange and not great.
