Radek Kliber (5305) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), - DEC 3, 2006
Botlle.7% Pours golden haze, fine dense bright top, good lacing (3+) Sweet mineral nose, pale malts at bottom, light fruity character between. Soft bodied, semi dry, sweeten with mellow malts. Light bitter aftertaste. Quiet smooth ale. Bitter and fruity at edges.

Bottled. Cloudy yellow pour, some fruits and malts. Sort of like a weird heller bock or something.

Tipica strong lager amarissima molto luppolata. Un buon prodotto artigianale.

FatPhil (6205) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 16, 2010
750ml bottle (OPP, HBF2010)
5 Swimming pool aroma
2 Pale hazy, bottom of bottle
5 Simple milky malty taste
3 Pleasant palate, soft, no sharp corners
11 A touch dull, but I’d risk having it again, perhaps the bottom of the bottle was over-sludgy.

sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 9, 2010
(Bottled, 7.0% ABV) Slightly hazy with a medium head. Aroma of diacetyl, pale malt, some sourness. Flavor has pale malt and a touch of alcohol. Medium body, lowish carbonation. A smooth strong lager, but not a Belgian Ale.

TBone (9413) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 9, 2010
Bottled@HBF (BB 08/2010)
Pale yellow, small white head. Light grassy malty nose. Grassy, sweet pear malty, some alcohol. Short sweetish, harsh finish. This is not an ale but strong lager, which is similar to eg. Olvi Tuplapukki.

The aroma is heavy with incense, flowers, dust, wheat, citrus, and honey. The appearance is hazy gold with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall an interesting but not a tasty beer.

Suttree (3925) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 21, 2008
Cloudy orange / gold. Bready or toasty, with a touch of citrus in the aroma, and the flvor is pretty much the same, with a bit more citrus in the finish. Pretty simple, but not horrible.

nearbeer (2651) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 8, 2008
500 ml. Gushes from the bottle with a large foamy head above the hazy, pear-gold birra. Settles to a small and lasting disc that leaves a bit of soapy lace. Honey and grass, spicy rock candy aromas. Flavors very similar, with some corn and alcohol. I think this beer is a lager; tastes alot like one of the smoother Ukrainian strong lagers. Not bad if that’s what you were expecting, but a pretty poor entry in the Belgian category. Light-medium body is fairly smooth and grassy-dry on the finish.
