2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen.
Süßlicher, honigartiger Geruch. Der Nachgeschmack ist zwar feinherb, vorher allerdigns ist das Bier viel zu süß, auch die Süffigkeit wird dadurch deutlich eingeschränkt.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hopscotch (7523) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Bottle… February in Franconia (2011)… Clear golden lager with a small, fluffy, white head. Decent retention. The restrained nose offers light biscuit and honey and is surprisingly meaty and smoky – beef bouillon and smoked meat. Medium-bodied and oily with biting carbonation. Mirroring the aroma, the malty flavor presents honey and a nice kiss of smoked malt - whether real or imagined. Perfectly-balanced while at proper lager temperature. Crisp finish with a nice little hop kick. Thanks go out to erlangernick and Koelschtrinker for making this month of Franconian lagers possible!
