The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass also. Starts malty and dry, modest sweet in the background. The finish is a bit washy. An average festbier!

Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen. Das Bier schmeckt hopfig und hat eine säuerliche Note, im Mittelteil angenehm malzaromatisch. Der Abgang passt nicht ganze zum Rest des Bieres, er präsentiert sich bitter-herb. Recht aromatisches Bier, dazu recht süffig – das beste Bier der Becher-Reihe. Test vom 7.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,12,11,11,11 - 10,95

(Sample #11 [bottled] at the first Biertest-Online Gathering, Düsseldorf, 29.12.06) Clear, deep golden colour with a small white head. Sweetish malty aroma with a touch of sourness and minimal fruity notes; light sweet flavour, medium to light body. Pretty one-dimensional malty taste; sweet-bitter finish with a shy touch of herbal hops. Rather disappointing.
