Ungstrup (11164), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 25, 2007 An unclear light yellow beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of citrus and wheat, but also light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana and cloves, leading to a dry wheaty finish. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden May 30, 2007 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy straw coulour, creamy head. Citric banana aroma. Sweet with surprisingly full body. Cottony malt fills my mouth. Light clove and banana esters mix with spun sugar, but wheat malt still doiminates. The malt character is masterful, but I’d like to see some more esters. yespr (6405), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 12, 2008 From tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà. Pours hazy orange with 4 cm thick white head. Light caramelic malt aroma. Flavour is the same with a subdued estery wheat note. Mild wheaty note into the finish. Only a vague note of the yeasty banana flavours. Light yeasty and bitter finish. Somewhat a bland wheat. Rastacouere (5283), Montréal, Quebec, Canada May 29, 2007 Draught, Akkurat Clouded sunny straw yellow coloured. Fair white cover. Purely well extracted wheat is obvious. Crisp yet not obstrusive to the banana puree that dominates the many esters. Intense and bright aroma. bcomes more citric in mouth, but the wheat remains focused while minimal phenols develop around. Rather full bodied, soft and smooth carbonation. I did not find it bland at all! harrisoni (5149), Ashford, Kent, England Mar 17, 2008 Bottle at London Drinker BF 08. Gold, cloudy, odd sediment floating under a white head. Cereal, slightly fishy aroma. Some banana, bit of herb. More banana in mouth. More of a refreshing weisse. Bit over carb’d. Some bubblegum. It’s a light weisse, not a huge body, but it does have the lemon, cereal, bubblegum characteristics.
