3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a crystal clear, light gold with a medium, fluffy white head. Has a nice Pilsner malt aroma with some grass and florals. Flavor is lightly sweet and very bready, with some good bitterness on the end. Light bodied, well carbonated, cloud-like. Very good alcohol-free beer.

I kinda find these commercial descriptions funny.... : "What this brew lacks in alcohol it certainly makes up for in flavor". Well what are they going to put there? The truth? "At least you can still drive a car after having this beer?" "Sorry about this brew, we wish we didnt have to make it, please try another one of our beers"? This is no good and of course the brewery knows about it...

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is mostly sorghum and herbal hops with a faint note of skunk. The flavor is bland, but decently bittered for an n/a. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Astringent, moderately bitter finish. Went well enough with my plate of pork and guava gravy. Most importantly, it didnít hinder my driving afterwards. Now that Iím home, itís time for a real beer!

330ml bottle (K Market)
Beyond anaemic - gnats’ piss. Dry dusty version of the usual cornflake aroma. Lively carbonation, very thin body. Grassy metallic hops, some lemon, lots of dry dusty cornflakes. Cornflakes picked up from the corner of your kitchen floor when you finally get round to sweeping the floor. Nasty metallic finish. Drivers - don’t drink this, drink anything else instead.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
This was purely in the interest of modern science as I detest ínormalí Becks with a passion. It looks and smells like Becksí little brother in that it is the colour of watered down limeade and has a sweet aroma. The taste however is much nicer than Becks. It doesnít have that nasty bite and is actually quite mellow. Itís still a poor beer and Iím glad Iíve got it out of my system, but give me this over its stable mate any day.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle in Vail. Clear, light golden appearance with a small white head. Dull straw, hay, pale malty aroma. Grainy, straw, barn hay flavor. Bleh bleh bleh. Fuck me, they brought me the non-alcoholic version. Fuck me. Fuck me.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle. The cap is popped off and instantly I get a whiff of fusel chemical cleaner and spoiled ginger ale. The nutrisweet-like corn and ginger-infused bathroom cleaner is an instant turnoff, and the perfectly clear light yellow body suggests I made a mistake with this whole thing. Shamelessly trying to knock off another style with 10 ratings minimum, I decided to pick up a few NAs, but Iím also curious because I really have no idea what the "style" is like. Itís been a few years. Thereís a light creaminess to the texture, frothy but not full. It dissolves on the tongue quickly and leaves a spoiled ginger and celery flavor coating the mouth. Passable for sure, itís not the worst thing in the world, but I donít really see how anyone would want to drink this regularly. The long-lasting finish of sweet-n-low is possibly the worst thing this beer offers. An interesting experience.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Golden with a white bubbly head. Aromas are skunky room-filling lemon with grain and chemicals. Flavours are lemon and harsh chemicals that grate the inside of the throat. At least it has some hoppiness to it - that special Becks soapy, metallic hoppiness. As rough as a spoonful of Sudan 1.

Pale yellow colored, with some slight malty aroma. The taste is somewhat malty, but very uninspiring.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear extremely pale gold color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing, oddly, considering the quality of the rest of the beer. Aroma is beans. Seriously. Beans, stale leafy hops and not much else. Taste is sweet malts with a faint hint of hops. Some graininess in the finish. Thin-medium bodied. This is all over the place, very strange and very, very bad.
