2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle (BB 03/08). Head is initially small, frothy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), trace hops (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. As with Haake Beck, rather sweet, but it’s ok and the flaws of the standard Becks lager aren’t as flaunting. Not much aroma, but drinkable.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Medium white head over pale yellow body. Rubbery aroma with notes of wet cardboard and something that reminds me of sweaty socks. Bitter rubbery, watery taste of grain and metal. The wateriness makes it really disgusting. A lingering taste not entirely unlike vomit. Chalky, mouthfeel a little like acid. Vaguely, at the back, there are traces of floral hops. This is crap. If you don’t want to get drunk, drink water. Poured out the rest. (0.33l bottle.)

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Very pale yellow old with a lively white head that actually retains well. Aroma is full of skunky hops, which I happen to greatly enjoy. Papery thin biscuity malt with lots of skunky hops. For an alcohol- free beer, this was passable, probably the best of the few I tried this weekend.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
My 10th low alcohol beer! 4/2/11. 12oz bottle. Clear light yellow pour with basically no head. Disgusting aroma of skunk, rotten veggies, corn, and pale malt. Very sweet grainy flavor of corn and artificial sweeteners. Bllllllllllech.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Theres nothing too upsetting about this, but then again it is becks that doesnt even get you drunk. Aroma is similar to ordinery becks, taste is light though similar to aroma.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Another picayune beer to drink. Pellucid beige with a small white slick of head and decent lacing. Nose of sweet unfermented malts and a bit of huskiness. The smell and taste of a wort made entirely of pale malt. The flavor is interesting because I don’t believe I’ve ever chilled and carbonated wort before. Very fresh hops, just like you’d get after you taste the hydrometer reading post boil. Everything is lining up here but I think they forgot one key ingredient.
