1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - NOV 18, 2005
Another picayune beer to drink. Pellucid beige with a small white slick of head and decent lacing. Nose of sweet unfermented malts and a bit of huskiness. The smell and taste of a wort made entirely of pale malt. The flavor is interesting because I don’t believe I’ve ever chilled and carbonated wort before. Very fresh hops, just like you’d get after you taste the hydrometer reading post boil. Everything is lining up here but I think they forgot one key ingredient.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Hansen (5432) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2008
Kind’a nice on a warm summerday. Golden and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Faint hoppy aroma. Flavor is mainly bitter. Sparkling. Watery texture.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 larsga (5324) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 30, 2006
Medium white head over pale yellow body. Rubbery aroma with notes of wet cardboard and something that reminds me of sweaty socks. Bitter rubbery, watery taste of grain and metal. The wateriness makes it really disgusting. A lingering taste not entirely unlike vomit. Chalky, mouthfeel a little like acid. Vaguely, at the back, there are traces of floral hops. This is crap. If you don’t want to get drunk, drink water. Poured out the rest. (0.33l bottle.)
1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 downender (5185) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2009
330ml bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with a slight white head. heavy, corny malts dominated with no evidence of hops and a trying, bitter finish. Not special.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DuffMan (5184) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 11, 2013
Bottle. Very pale yellow old with a lively white head that actually retains well. Aroma is full of skunky hops, which I happen to greatly enjoy. Papery thin biscuity malt with lots of skunky hops. For an alcohol- free beer, this was passable, probably the best of the few I tried this weekend.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2004
Light golden coloured. Sweet honeyish aroma. Sweet and very watery flavour. Boring and thin, but ok for a non alcoholic.
1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JAN 29, 2006
One of 19 non-alcoholic brews I tried during a 4-month deployment in Kuwait, because that’s all I could get. 10/6/05 (bottle): Poured a deep, dark yellow with little head. A starchy aroma flourishes with a surprisingly hopped edge. The good stuff ends there ... overly starchy with a cooked cabbage essence. I’m really wanting to get home!
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 jtclockwork (5016) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 11, 2013
Backlog. Pours yellow. White head. Nose and taste is mostly watery corn, sweet grain, light pepper and a bit of skunk. Light body.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 heemer77 (5007) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 6, 2006
Light gold body with a rapdily dissapting white head. The aroma is potatoes and carrots along with some corn. The taste is nasty sweet corn flakes with some dirt and a little hint of watermelon rind. This is pretty bad, even for a non alcoholic beer.
