COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beck’s Dark is rich and smooth with a lingering, slightly sweet aftertaste. The deep ebony color is the result of specially roasting the barley malt. Unlike dark ales, Beck’s Dark is a bottom-fermented lager which creates a robust flavor and full body while retaining the refreshing properties of a lager beer.

better than regular becks, seems sweeter. not a "world class" beer, but a great drink.

Pretty good beer. A little darker than a regular beck’s, but nothing special. Has a little bit of an aftertaste.

This is one of those beers that confuses me. I seem to keep drinking it (it’s one of the few darker beers available to me at the closest drug store to my house)but it isn’t like I’m in love with it or anything. Enjoyable, but there seems to be some strange almost burnty/medicine aftertaste to it that bothers me. Hmm. I’ll probably keep drinking it though.

Better than Beck's Regular. Its got a dark rustric taste that tingles the senses.

Pours a dark black, but still has the hop taste and large carbonation associated with lagers. Great for a refreshing change from the lager standards.

Smooth and not too bitter. As surprising it may seem, this beer goes extremely well with Indian cuisine.
