Bottle white, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours very pale yellowish, wattery body with medium visual carbonation and initially small to medium head, slowly decreasing to minimum, white, lasting near the glass walls, gives some traces of lacing.
Aroma: Very strong and rather disgusting skunkyness of hops, it is intensified by a vivid carbonation, very chalky at the background. I think I’ll have very nasty and parched aftertaste after drinking this very weak grains, dust, rather unfresh. I think even corn is present!!! I wander how can they make a beer according to German Purity Low if it smells as cornflakes, it is really rediculous, they are making fun of this law of purity, repulsive.
Flavour: Corn flakes with water, clean, aftertaste is grassy hoppy skunky and all in all very unfresh after you swallow it even though it seems initially fresh, strong bitterness on palate and corny - grassy nose. Dry and parched aftertaste, finish duration is average, citrusy, grapefruit.
Palate: Body is light, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is chalky, dusty, dry, parched, skunky, with grassy hoppy nose and slight bitterness on your tongue.

Panzerfaust (509) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - MAY 9, 2012
330 ml clear bottle from Jumbo, Santiago de Chile. Looks like a Corona in the clear bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a fine white frothy head that lingers. Aroma is almost exclusively malty, very grainy and classic. Some sweeter hints of caramel and peanuts are noticeable in the back. Taste is nothing special, starts sweet but becomes marginally bitter with fresh herbal-hoppy touches. Good to pair with lunch but not enough to be drank on its own. Light bodied, crisp and fresh. Watery in the finish. Better than a regular pale lager but not by much.

edpeg (496) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 29, 2012
Pours pale yellow clear body with white frothy head. Aromas are citrus, grass and grains. Palate is thin watery with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Aftertaste is dry bitter, papery with short fresh hops finish. Overall mild watery pils with an ok hoppy bitter finish typical to Northern Germany. The bottle is so tacky I would’ve probably left it on the shelf normally.

Clear bright yellow with white foam head. Another typical German pilsener with just a little more flavor. To clear, no dept. (Düsseldorf 201202)

Kulturbahnhof, Jena, thanks Morko! Erm, golden? Smells vaguely eggy, tastes soft and slightly eggy. They appear to have tried to make the least potentially offensive lager possible. And made one of the duller available.

The big brother of normal Beck’s, still looks like pee, but it deserves a try.

POLK (1620) - Hørning, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2011
Light summer beer ala sun and Corona, however, slightly more bitter. Nice easy drinking beer to the summer heat but at a price of 1euro bottle, it can not be recommended

Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2011
Platt herber aber frischer Antrunk mit geringem aber schmeckbarem Hopfen. Dieses Aroma bleibt konstant, wenig bitter, spät mit bleibender Herbe abklingend. Simpel aber erfrischend. 8/7/9/6/7/7

Clean made german lager, with a noticable bitter hop character from start to finsh. Yet it remains overall average and rather boring.
