UPDATED: SEP 14, 2007 Bottled 0,66L. Compact and adherent head, good persistence. Yellow golden color, fine and light fizz. Herbaceous, light, with notes of cereals, barley and dampen straw scent. Simple and usual taste; little pungent with a good bitter and satisfactory alcoholic content. Short and a lot watery final.

Inget märkvärdigt öl alls. Lätt metallisk smak, lite tunt, passar betydligt bättre till mat än att dricka bart.

Ma dico non facevano già abbastanza danno con l’originale, devo mandare fuori anche ’sta roba...

Beck’s Next ähnelt dem "Gold" der selben Brauerei, es ist ein mildes Bier. Wässrig mit bitterer Grundlage kommt im Nachgeschmack noch ein leichter Hopfenton hinzu. Gefällt mir etwas besser als das "Gold". Test vom 21.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,10,7,10,8 - 8,55

330ml bottle (Lloyds/JDWs Uxbridge) - this is the closest match to the 5% of ’Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ which is what I actually had.
5- Cornflakey wheetabixy aroma.
2 Pale and fizzy
5- Very bland grain taste. Never seen a hop.
2 Watery and fizzy. Finish poor.
8 All nastiness removed, but still not a good lager.

Clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma had malt and cardboard. Flavor had malt, cardboard and fruity hints.

33 cL clear bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and crisp hoppy. Towards cornish. Citrusy and light cardboardish. Citrusy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a rough white head. The nose has a little sweet malt and chicory. Medium body, sweet malt and unpleasant cardboard accents. Sticky sweet finish. Poor even for a Becks. 010910

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw, and light notes of citrus and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle - 660ml. Golden body with a decent white foamy head. Aroma is dominated by skunkiness. Its malty/hoppy aroma lacks complexity and ends with a short bittersweet finish. Disappointing.

Presa da altri per fare un polletto alla birra un po’ scemo, ho approfittato per assaggiarla e votarla qui. Beh sa meno di chiavi di casa che la sua famosa collega (forse per questo "meno amara" ehehehoeiheoie) ma fa comunque abbastanza schifo.
