A really tasty, traditional German brewed beer. Beck’s makes me feel at least 1,500 years old, and maybe even older than that. I can imagine warriors from the Germanic tribes drinking a brew just like this, before kicking the asses of Roman Legionaries in battle.

Very good Oktoberfest. This one ranks up there for me, even though most of these ratings here seem mediocre. I like it alot, very malty and well balanced.

I can’t believe how smooth this beer is. The blend of flavors has an incredible synergy! I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I found this one to be quite nice. Deep, brown color with decent head. A beautiful, malty flavor to boot....

wow, this gets better and better with each mug! Pours with a nice foamy light tan head and some lace. Very pleasing clear copper color. Likewise pleasing malty, caramely, slightly burnt sugar nose. This year it has the slightly dry characteristic in the mouth that I’ve become so fond of. Nice body, fairly clean, short finish with an incentive to have another quaff. Great session brew. Having this one now at the bar of Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. They have 2 more 1/2 bbls left. Cheers!

Mild to medium aroma of yeast/bread dough and orange rind. Red-orange in color and clear with nice lacing. Matly sweetness on the palante, nicely balanced with medium bitter and sour notes and a long finish. Medium-bodied with a nice texture balance between creamy and lively carbonation. Overall, a nice easy-drinking autumn beer. Not my first choice, but far from my last.

Much better than their pale lager, this beer has a nice caramel tone and a crystaline hop presence at the end. Hey, I don’t care what anyone says, Beck’s can brew some damn good beer.
