A good example of the oktoberfest/marzen style

Clear amber with a medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma of toast, cinnamon, and caramel. Taste is semi-sweet malt, some toasty flavors and a mild bitterness. Light bodied and a little thin, but all in all, a decent brew.

Brown lager. Malty nutty nose. Good spotty lace. Small bubbles. Flavor is 66% malt and the rest hops... this beer’s saving grace. The first.Fishing and body ate full, satisfying, and beer. Yes beer. A dark one. Enjoy it.

12oz bottle from a recent beer event. Pours a mostly clear caramel amber with an off-white head. Nose is caramel, slight bicuity malt, some bread, and some grains. Flavor is caramel, biscuity malt, bread, and grain. Finish is somewhat dry for a marzen- malt flavors don’t stick around, the yeast comes through and dries it out. For a macro marzen, this one is not half bad.

Bottle - small foamy head, dark amber color, dry malty flavor - OK, but other marzens tend to be better

12 oz green-glassed bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper with a one-finger light-beige dissipating head; leaves a ring and skiff of foam. Aroma is malty sweet--caramel is prominent; also some toasty, floral, and perfumy notes. Taste is caramelly sweet with some bitterness creeping in in the finish. Highly carbonated with loads of werewolves skating over the tongue. Decent but unspectacular.

Pint on tap pours copper with a white head. Aromas of carmel malts toffee and a bit of bread dough. Flavor is semi.sweet and bready. Body is almost medium and finish leaves a good malt flavor behind

This one says lager on the label with a 5/12 exp.date.Far from a marzen style this one gets a drain pour rating .Good job Inbev,it takes a lot to destroy a brew but you have made this taste like a barrel of burning logs was thrown in a vat of budweiser, keep up the good work.A foul brew to avoid even if free.
