1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
"BECKS" my red haired ass! This is made in St. Louie by Bud! The rear label claims it was brewed under the German purity laws of 1516. So why do I detect field corn? Darker corn water pour with almost no head and zero lacing on the glass. Aroma is truly weird. I canít place it. But it doesnít smell like anything natural. Flavor is flat, with forced bittering. Little thirst quenching carbonation and not a very nice flavor either. Almost no aftertaste. There is a weird "astringent" taste to it, sort of like a Band-Aid would taste like if it were liquid. I paid $6.99 for a six pack of bottles which is a zillion dollars too much.
Fuck this slop!!!

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pourz a clear gold with minimal white head. Aroma is mostly grains. Taste is light bitter. Corn and grains. These sapphire hops dont do a whole lot for me. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, its kinda a dog.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled totaling a number of three times yesterday in town. Bright yellow with which a trim snowy white head rested upon. Tin, corn oil, hay, and LME: thatís how it smells, and thatís how it tastes. Finished.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a clear gold with a stark white head. The nose is a mix of skunky euro lager and florals. The flavor has a sweet vegetal thing going on to mix with the euro lager taste. Light in body with a lingering finish. Pretty abysmal but I drank the whole thing anyway.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Nothing special or different about this one. All it is is just Becks beer put into a dark brown bottle. Honestly, thatís it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice initial taste and no after taste. Wish it was darker.....cannot taste the higher alcohol content. One of the better Beckís offerings.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Watery appearance, bought a six pack thinking it was Becks of Germany. Not that great a taste, but better then anything else Anheuser-Busch has ever created. Will finish off the six pack, since bought it, then relegate this beer to the forget it column.

Bottle. Golden color. Decent head. Taste like most American lagers. Not bad but not good.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body with a large fizzy white head that faded slowly, leaving a little bit of lacing. The nose does have a light touch of hops, but the aroma is very light. Itís better smelling than the standard Beckís though I must say, for even though itís very light, itís at least clean. The flavor is a bit of a turd though, the hops are quite light, but what little bit that is there I donít really care for that much. Very little malt in here as well, making it very thin and watery. Light bodied with fizzy soft carbonation. Canít say that I care for the regular Becks, but I think Iíd choose it over this flop.
