2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I like this much more than regular becks. Its very smooth and a little malty and lacks that potent aftertaste that becks had.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle, poured into a Bud Light brand Kolsch style glass. Pours clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Clean and grainy with light earthy notes. Average carbonation. Quick bland finish. This is a slightly above average pale lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a nice one inch white head. Tons of carbonation. Taste is of malt, caramel, grain, grass, citrus, hops and some alcohol. Similar aroma. Has decent body, especially for a pale lager. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable. Well worth having again.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2013 Not much of anything except alcohol. It’s a "chick" beer for "chicks" who don’t like beer. It is faintly - very faintly - reminiscent of Bud Black Crown, which is far better. It carries a Becks label and is made in St. Louis - InBev at its best. Anyone want the other 11 in the 12-pack?
1/28/13 Update: This proves it’s a ’chick" beer from the web site: WIN A TRIP TO MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK IN NYC. And let’s not forget the bottle is in basic black.

Fantastic marketing; sexy label. Beautiful colored beer. Taste, though beckoned memories of ice-beer from the college years. Won’t be finishing the case myself, but good to pawn off on the neighbors who still drink college-beer.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pour is a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is almost nothing. Some sweet malt. Flavor is almost nothing again. Just almost nothing. I guess some malt but nothing in the way of hops. So watery this may not even be considered a beer.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle with undecipherable code rather than a clear date. Thumbs up for the nice extra dark bottle.
Pours a crystal clear golden color with a fragile and thin white head. Large bubbles rising through the beer suggest artificial carbonation. The aroma is a rather light mix of malts and hops that suggest cereal and over-cooked vegetables, The flavor is notably better but too much like an light lager. Very smooth, light body with good (medium) carbonation.
O: Flaws of omission in this fairly well-crafted lager create a smooth, easy drinking beer that’s lacking in both flavor and aromatics.

This is one of the worst beers I’ve tried in a very long time, becks should be embarrassed too have there name on this product. At first tasted I thought mmmmmmmmm... Taste like toilet water.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is mild malt and a hint of tangy hops. Appearance is golden brown clear with medium light tan head. Taste is sweet malt, corn, light tangy spicy aroma hopping, light bitterness. Palate is light medium, very crisp. Overall a very drinkable beer. Malt lacks any real depth, and the hops that it is named after dont really shine through.

had at a chilli fest, but no chilli to be found .. . gold .. mild little foam .. light corn, touch of pleasing bitterness .. pretty good .. . .
... It only takes a second to show someone how you truly feel about them.
The police call it indecent exposure, but whatever..
