This is one of the worst beers I’ve tried in a very long time, becks should be embarrassed too have there name on this product. At first tasted I thought mmmmmmmmm... Taste like toilet water.

theOptimator (286) - Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Aroma is mild malt and a hint of tangy hops. Appearance is golden brown clear with medium light tan head. Taste is sweet malt, corn, light tangy spicy aroma hopping, light bitterness. Palate is light medium, very crisp. Overall a very drinkable beer. Malt lacks any real depth, and the hops that it is named after dont really shine through.

had at a chilli fest, but no chilli to be found .. . gold .. mild little foam .. light corn, touch of pleasing bitterness .. pretty good .. . .

... It only takes a second to show someone how you truly feel about them.

The police call it indecent exposure, but whatever..

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2013 Golden pour with lots of white head. No lace. Smell is pretty nice. Hop and citrus, grass, pale malt. Taste is putrid. Corn, yeast, and nasty hop.

Almost no aroma. Clear yellow and headless. Weak, lightly artificial flavor of plastic and lemons. Fizzy. More of the same from InBev.

durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Surprisingly big sample by some Beck’s rep at the grocery store. Pours slightly darker gold than regular Beck’s from what I remember. White head. Nose shows a bit more hops (not much), more sweet grain, and more booze. How can you possibly make a 6% beer that tastes slightly boozy? Oh, that’s right, you got nothing else going on, do you?

fidelis83 (1975) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Clear, pale gold pour with a a soapy off white head. Sweet planty aroma. Sweet, malty and lighty planty taste. Light, overcarbonated and somewhat sharp feel. Cheap pale lager/malt liquor with a hint of extra hops, not good, but could be slightly worse.

nuplastikk (4565) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 18, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 First off, loses points for being brewed in St. Louis. Becks, from St. Louis...that’s just wrong. Moving on...12oz bottle. FIltered yellow-tan color, thin, oily head. Macro sweet aroma, too sugary and sweet for what you’d want out of even a brewer like Becks, while it does have some bitterness, I’d say the regular Becks has a more pronounced hop character, more depth, more refined. This is just a cheap IMBEV crap in disguise. Drinkable, inoffensive at times, but just a gimmick at heart.

Bottle. Light barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Light malt and mild herbal bitterness. Not much body. A beer for those who can’t handle the intense flavor of regular Becks.
