Bottle. Yep a pale later ... golden in color with really nondescript aromas and/or flavors that were memorable.

Light. Unremarkable. I can’t notice much of an improvement and I actually think the original Beck’s is much smoother.

(bottle - 12 oz) Golden pour with a thin white head. Light corn and grass aroma with some sweetness and dry and stale hops underneath. Sweet corn and malt at the start with a bitter and dry grass middle. Some dank hay notes near the end with a peppery bitterness.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark gold in the glass. Aroma of cream and malt. More creamy flavor notes with a slight toasty malt background. I also get the usual macro lager flavor profile that wants to make its way through. Overall, I think I was expecting a bit more of a pale ale type flavor and color so I’m a bit disappointed. But on it’s own merits its not too bad. I do like the black glass bottles for homebrew though!

Damn carbonation gave me the hiccups. Faint malt and corn aroma. Taste is fizzy bread, whatever the hell that is.

Overly sweet. Interesting approach to a mass produced beer being that it focuses on a single hop variety. Unfortunately you can't really taste them.
