2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 scooterbub (661) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JAN 26, 201312 ounce bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a nice one inch white head. Tons of carbonation. Taste is of malt, caramel, grain, grass, citrus, hops and some alcohol. Similar aroma. Has decent body, especially for a pale lager. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable. Well worth having again.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin, white head. It has a fairly nondescript aroma of malt and hops. The taste is similar, nondescript. A little malt, a little hops, but not much of either. Tastes like a very well-made macro lager, but nothing really special other than that.

I didnt like this beer at all. I had seen the commercials and wanted to try it but I was very disappointed.

Real Light Yellow, Small Head, Little Lacing. A couple of shockers (at Least to me) right off the bat. I guess, something along the lines of Pavlov’s Conditioning laws, black bottle and black can made me think, that just like Guinness it will be a dark beer. This one looks more like a Corona. Another shocker came upon closer label inspection: Made in St. Louis, MO by Budweiser. There goes Imported German Beer part.... Sweet Corn Taste, barely noticeable hop finish, While my knowledge of Bud products is limited, this one looks like a Bud, tastes like a Bud, but is a little less carbonated, therefore smoother and easier to drink. Knowing what it is and where it is coming from, it is an 0K thirst quencher. Nothing premium , northing really bad.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 tgncc (2286) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Boring, standard pale lager. Thje aroma is sweet, malty, corn, light fruit. The flavor follows exactly. Sort of a berry flavor, which I guess is the sappphire hop. Fairly subtle though. Medium in body. Same appearance of the pale lager. Pale yellow, white head. Finishes sweet, light hop bittering. Ok. Not outstanding. One and done.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 TATE (198) - Lubec, Maine, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Can. Not much aroma. Drank straight out of the can. Taste is on the malty side with not much hop finish. Just average or less, leaving you wanting more, forgettable.

Clear golden amber with a frothy white head and curtains of lace. Somewhat sweet malt with adjunct (corn?) that stays the same through the palate, finally adding the slightest bittering in the finish. Seems a waste to give 6% abv for such a flavorless beer. Pretty lightweight.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SSSteve (3377) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 30, 2013
bottle. clear gold with a small white head. sweet malt and candy hop aroma. syrupy palate and highly carbonated. a hint of alcohol astringency at 6%. the hops taste clean and herbal. saphire is a german hop developed recently as an alternative to the german classics but with a hint of berry/citrus supposedly(which i didn’t pick up on). its an ok beer though, but the abv shows up some.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 BVery (4247) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - APR 27, 2013
Bottle. Pale gold pour with minimal head. Nose is slightly syrupy, but overall just crappy grainy lager.

Not bad for a German style beer made in Missouri. 6% alcohol is a nice addition.
