12 oz bottle poured into a Spaten stange. Pours a clear brilliant gold with a thick white head with good retention; after it falls a bit, a little lace is left on the glass; a blanket of foam remains on top of the liquid all the way down to last swallow. Aroma is corny, citrus powder drink, creamed corn. Taste is sweet with only a hint of bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation soft for the style. I’m actually really surprised by this. I was expecting a piece of shit, mostly because of the AB connection, but this is much better than most of the stuff in AB’s portfolio and everything I’ve ever had from the actual Becks brewery. It’s not excellent, and it’s not anything I would ever buy again, but this isn’t all that bad.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Aromas of wheat and dough. Tastes of some weak caramel malts, cereals, mashed grains, and wheat. Some floral hops are present as well. This beer also has a surprising malt backbone. Refreshing and easy to drink. While it is not particularly memorable, this brew is a solid session beer.

Not a bad lager. Biggest problem is the alcohol comes through a little too much although its only 6%, maybe not enough to hide it behind. StiLL ive enjoyed becks as a a good almost german pils-pale lager.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin, white head. It has a fairly nondescript aroma of malt and hops. The taste is similar, nondescript. A little malt, a little hops, but not much of either. Tastes like a very well-made macro lager, but nothing really special other than that.

Real Light Yellow, Small Head, Little Lacing. A couple of shockers (at Least to me) right off the bat. I guess, something along the lines of Pavlov’s Conditioning laws, black bottle and black can made me think, that just like Guinness it will be a dark beer. This one looks more like a Corona. Another shocker came upon closer label inspection: Made in St. Louis, MO by Budweiser. There goes Imported German Beer part.... Sweet Corn Taste, barely noticeable hop finish, While my knowledge of Bud products is limited, this one looks like a Bud, tastes like a Bud, but is a little less carbonated, therefore smoother and easier to drink. Knowing what it is and where it is coming from, it is an 0K thirst quencher. Nothing premium , northing really bad.

Boring, standard pale lager. Thje aroma is sweet, malty, corn, light fruit. The flavor follows exactly. Sort of a berry flavor, which I guess is the sappphire hop. Fairly subtle though. Medium in body. Same appearance of the pale lager. Pale yellow, white head. Finishes sweet, light hop bittering. Ok. Not outstanding. One and done.

Can. Not much aroma. Drank straight out of the can. Taste is on the malty side with not much hop finish. Just average or less, leaving you wanting more, forgettable.

Clear golden amber with a frothy white head and curtains of lace. Somewhat sweet malt with adjunct (corn?) that stays the same through the palate, finally adding the slightest bittering in the finish. Seems a waste to give 6% abv for such a flavorless beer. Pretty lightweight.
