| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Pretty standard macro Euro lager-pilsener. Nothing too exciting. OK. There are better choices out there in this category, but this goes down easily enough and will do in a pinch. Light malty sweetness and a dash of Mitteleuropean hops. I am actually scoring this lower than a number of American macros. Not that it is actually worse, but perhaps one of the things that bothers me about the Euro macros is that they are supposed to be high quality beers and often sell at substantial prices in the USA, yet they are not really high end brews. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 13, 2009 Pours a classic golden yellow with a thick white head that doesn’t stick around long. Not bad lacing. Hoppy metallic aroma that pretty much matches the taste. Not bad, but recommend a St. Pauli’s instead. topherh (900), Kearney, Missouri, USA
