Our original Beck’s is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

12x330ml bottles available everywhere, pours pale gold, it is quite mild but more bitter than many comparable macro lagers,

Tasteless lager, with no aroma, no taste, exactly the same as all others concern beers. Shame for german brewing :)

Zwykły lager, nic specjalnego. Są gorze i lepsze. Ludzie kupują chyba tylko dla marki.

Fairly generic. Pours a light gold with a white head. There’s a bit of hop in there to stop it being too bland.

Pindoc (120) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 7, 2014
Wer’s bitter mag...

Sampled in a 33cl bottle with a Pop Art label in Turkey on holiday. Possibly brewed under licence. Rich golden colour and white head. This world famous lager is pretty poor. Malty aroma with quite a full bread-like taste, but little fruitiness in the hops. Not enough bitterness to balance the very strong malts. Rather bland flavours and a very abrupt finish which is distinctly metallic. A poor advert for German beer.

Klar lys gyllen farve med minimal lyst skum. Lukt av lys malt og gress. Smak av gress og humle. Lett bitter ettersmak. Import.

Duft av humle og malt. Klar lys gyllen farge. Lite skum. Syrlig noe fruktig smak av humle og malt.

One of the many standard lagers in the hands of AB InBev. Pale golden blonde, snow white head; aroma dominated by lightstruck effect (cat pee!), never a good idea to use green bottles just because they’re cheaper than brown ones. Otherwise malt sweetishness but only faintly, thin, grassy hop bitterness in the finish with the retronasal lightstruck effect ruining the small amount of taste it has. I guess this is better from tap, but it remains just another drop in the world-wide ocean of bland pale lagers.

500 ml can. Clear, pale yellow colour, short-life medium sized off-white porous head, vapor corn aroma, light watery body, high carbonation, slight sweet malty and powerful resinous hoppy bitter taste, simply and resinous hoppy bitter palate. Not well-balanced and too watery.
