Aroma is skunked, with a subtle hint of doughy pale malt. Very thin body. Has a papery, slightly sweet pale malt background. Lots of metallic hints & a salty light bitter finish. Bland and boring. I love how the description has "hoppy" in quotations, seems fitting. The aroma is anything but that. However, at a generic American bar that serves this, as well as Heineken and Budweiser, I would choose this over those. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2007 Rated 2/5/06: This is a fairly solid european style lager. Pours a light gold into my glass with a frothy head and decent lacing. Good carbonation and an overall pleasant look. The aroma is typical of this style with a touch of bitterness and hoppy accents. Clean mouthfeel that finishes with ease. The flavor is very good, I enjoy these types of lagers much more than their American cousins. Overall a nice average beer that always tastes good to me. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 10, 2007 I’ve had bottles many times, and just tried a can for the first time; bottles are definitely better. The aroma is distinctly German, with grassy and earthy hops, and just a touch of yeast and malt. The appearance is unimpressive, a typical medium gold color with a small, foamy white head. The taste has a sour start with a mildly bitter finish. Texture is wet and smooth with a mild fizzyness and medium to low carbonation. It’s decent for a mass-produced beer and maintains the usual German beer characteristics. Changed (167), Ithaca, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 6, 2007 very skunky, carbonated and makes the mouth tingle, not exactly in a good way. However, I’d rather drink this than Keystone or Miller any day. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 5, 2007 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a white head. A light aroma of hops with a similar light hoppy flavour. Average body & carbonation. Ok beer when thirsty. AaronBouchard (136), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

A wonderful lively hoppy aroma almost with mint notes. A blond colored body with a bold but impresive taste. Stonger in body then a North American but is on the same drinkable level.
