Commercial Description:
Our original Beck's is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

Generic lager, sadly now produced by InBec. Many good memories of drinking with my roommate, but hardly worth the rating.

An average German skunky lager. Light in color, too much carbonation and familiar taste. Not a beer I enjoy but many do. I guess if it was free I would drink it again but I don’t ever plan on buying one. For what it costs you could go and drink yourself a nice stout or one of a million better Lagers.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold color with a thin bodied white head. Aroma of malts, skunk, and grain. Flavor was a little bland... skunky corn would be as good of a description as any. Not horrible, but I won’t be rushing out to buy a sixer either.

Very light color, average head, hoppy nose. Aroma is lightly bitter. Better than average bitterness.

Pours a gold pale color with a typical German lager corn aroma. Flavor has a mild corn taste with a bit of bitterness. A decent lager beer, just not my style.
