Very hoppy nose, nice straw colour. My first German beer in ages, always good to come back to.

Pours a clear yet carbonated light golden with a decent white head. Aroma is grainy and skunky. Taste is as well, but not as dreadful. Has a bit of a grassy taste to it as well that helps. Lighter, yet not exactly refreshing. Instead of settling on buying this, try digging a little deeper for something better.

(Flasche) Es hat eine helle, goldgelbe Farbe, ist klar filtriert mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Beim ersten riechen nichts gerochen, dann kommt irgendwann ein leicht würziger Hopfen vor einer leichten Süße. Der Geschmack ist wie das Aroma, Nix->recht Bitter->leichte Süße. und die Bittere bleibt im Abgang leicht hängen. Die Karbonisierung passt. Zusammengefasst; langweilig bis wässrig.

Golden with low head. Peppery aroma. Roasted malt dominates taste, some metal. Low carbonation, low bitterness.

A decent every day drinking beer. It’s not full flavored, bitter or dark enough for my taste buds, but there’s nothing wrong with the taste either. The lack of distinctive qualities, will make this beer appeal to many beer drinkers as there’s nothing to get turned off by.

Clear yellow collor with small head. I didnt like it. It has watery taste with overly carbonation. Smell was skunky hops and some wheat. Maybe original Beck’s is somewhat better than this one in can which was produced and filled in Zagreb, Croatia.

Notes I found from back in 2008. Clear light gold with white head. Nose is some grains and a good bit of skunk. Taste is about the same. Reminds me of Heineken but just a little better. Overall, not my cup of tea. I’ll drink this tonight because it’s free.

0,5L, bottled. I drank this beer after work when I was in Germany. Its main quality being that it’s a refreshing party beer. I had some good moments with friends drinking this one beer, symbol of our Erasmus time in Berlin.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2012 Bottle; pale yellow; crisp, refreshing; the dry fizzy flavourlessness of sparkling water; short, dry, slightly bitter finish; a useful thirst-slaker, no more.
