Ungstrup (11343), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 5, 2003 A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is malty sweet - a nice aroma. The flavor is sweet, nicely malted, thin in the middle, and dying out in the end. The bitterness is slight but good. An OK beer - but somewhat boring. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 30, 2002 Pale yellow. Bready, stickily sweet, bland. Some bitterness at the end, but that doesn’t save it. Papsoe (10260), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 2, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) One of the very few German pilseners available on the Danish market. Very classical North-German pilsener. Lots of hops leaving both aroma and bitterness. Pale golden, medium head. Decent - and that’s about it. 200100 Oakes (6966), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 7, 2002 Imagine my disappointment to step onto a Lufthansa plane and this was all the German beer they had. Still, in contast to the skunky Becks you get in North America, in the Snoor you can get a decent pint of fresh, if a little bit heavy, hop-accented Becks, with unclean malt notes and a little too much ’cat’s piss’ aroma for my liking. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 7, 2007 From 33 cL can. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Slight fruity and sweet aroma. Almost citrus fruity flavour with a clear sweetness. Slight dusty note. Mild bitterness in the finish. Solid.
