Our original Beck’s is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

Smooth, balanced, and with a clean finish, Beck's is a decent Euro macro-lager. Not complex but offers decent mildly hoppy bitterness to offset average lager sweetness. That being said, it's enjoyable but not hardly memorable. Nor is it really authentically German as I hear it's brewed through InBev in USA and elsewhere. I personally recommend Stella Artois over this if you're interested in European pale lagers. Still, it's drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Nice malty aroma, although a bit faint. Light color, more like a "Mediterranean" lager. The taste is quite bitter. Short finish, although the bitterness tends to stay for a while. Not bad for the price, slightly better than most generic mass-produced international lagers.

Well balanced with a pleasant bready maltiness. Rather long, dry, bitter finish. A good mainstream lager.

Smells like the skunk is still alive at least nuts (what I should be for drinking this nasty bitter wash) resin - as in pine tar basement aromas - old shoe full of pond water, earthy, cooked vegetables, like rutabega or beets yik skunky, smoke, as if you smoked a real skunk

Fruity aroma but very sweet. Clear golden colour with reasonable head. Not a very nice flavor, high carbonation with light to medium body.

A little watery but at the same time fresh and pretty tasty. Good thirst quencher.

Clean pale golden color, medium white head. Aroma of malt, hops and grass. Taste is sweet with light dryness and lightly bitter hoppy finish and rassy aftertaste. Thin body and lively carbonation. Ok pilsner.

Clear yellow body, white head. Not muxh to say. Nicerly hopped than many other bulk lagers. No flaws.

Drought. Pale yellow with small white foamy head, very little doughy aroma, high carbonation, flattish taste, abrupt finish. Generic lager.

What happened to my favorite beer ever???? Oh yeah, it is now brewed in America. I questioned the taste for the past few months but thought it was MY taste buds. Thought maybe the beer had expired but today I finally learned the truth!!! If a German pilsner is brewed in the U.S.A. , the original taste is lost. Sorry Beck’s, I’m only going to buy Pilsner Urquel.
