COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our original Beck’s is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

Smooth, balanced, and with a clean finish, Beck's is a decent Euro macro-lager. Not complex but offers decent mildly hoppy bitterness to offset average lager sweetness. That being said, it's enjoyable but not hardly memorable. Nor is it really authentically German as I hear it's brewed through InBev in USA and elsewhere. I personally recommend Stella Artois over this if you're interested in European pale lagers. Still, it's drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

One of the many standard lagers in the hands of AB InBev. Pale golden blonde, snow white head; aroma dominated by lightstruck effect (cat pee!), never a good idea to use green bottles just because they’re cheaper than brown ones. Otherwise malt sweetishness but only faintly, thin, grassy hop bitterness in the finish with the retronasal lightstruck effect ruining the small amount of taste it has. I guess this is better from tap, but it remains just another drop in the world-wide ocean of bland pale lagers.

500 ml can. Clear, pale yellow colour, short-life medium sized off-white porous head, vapor corn aroma, light watery body, high carbonation, slight sweet malty and powerful resinous hoppy bitter taste, simply and resinous hoppy bitter palate. Not well-balanced and too watery.

Bottiglia da 0,66. Semplice birra da pasto. Gusto lineare e poco caratterizzato. Schiuma vaporosa e inconsistente. Poco carbonata e luppolatura impercettibile. Consiglio 1/10

This was alright. Drank on the train like a vagrant. Bottle - Pale golden with a bubbly white head. Some okay lacing. Aroma of malt, cereal, lemon and grass. Not especially nice. Think it’s malted barley that make these lagers smell so terrible. Taste of sweet malt, metal, a little grassy and lemony with light bitterness . Quite sweet. A little fresh mint. Light body prickly carbonation. Dry and a little oily.

Light golden colour, white head. Medium carbonation. Malty flavour and aroma, slightly hopped and a little fruitiness in the background. Decent beer, not a great one.

Pretty meh. Out of the bottle. Very average but not bad. Flat tasting at best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transparent light gold, fizzy white head that stays longer than it should. Weak hoppy notes mixed with "that big lager smell" on the nose. Bit overcarbonated, slightly bitter taste. Some weird notes I cannot quite pin down. Could be worse. No finish.

330 ml can. Crispy and light, metal, light grass and hay. No major off notes. And absolutely perfect after a long day of hot work
