Commercial Description:
Our original Beck's is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

Bottle green, 330 ml, 11.2P
Appearance: Pours pure and perfectly clear, light golden body colour, carbonation is visually medium to high, head is initially medium to high, head is initially small, than decreases to a minimal froth, white, foamy, its more like in body colour than previously tasted DAB Original.
Aroma: Very mild, neutral, rather boring, nothing being pronounced, average, balanced between hoppyness, very mild and not negative, but again nothing interesting.
Flavour: First impression is tangy, accidic and salty, some minerality, clean and clear, no sugar additives, thin, bitter on palate, some grainy base, definitely not sweet. All in all the taste is not pronounced, but nothing bad can be found about it. Finish duration is quite short.
Palate: Slightly grainy, slightly bitter, carbonation on palate is rather soft. Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is lightly alcoholic, clean and a bit metalic.

Bottle. An ok default lager. More bitter than some other macros. Finish disappointing.

Pours a piss-colored yellow, with a white head and slight skunky aroma. Not bad, but I’d rather have a Hofbrau Original or St. Pauli Girl.

Can. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light mlaty and hoppy aroma. Slightly grassy. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Soft carbonated nice watery palate. OK beer, but a little dull.

Pint can. Pours a light gold with 2 finger fluffy snow white head that fades quickly but leaves some spotty lacing. Nose is sweet grainy malts and light hops. Taste is more sweet grain, a touch of yeast, light hops and a dry, slight lemon-like citrus finish. Medium mouth feel. Not that bad - refreshing and drinkable on a hot day.. Much better in a can than that skunky green bottle.
