COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our original Beck’s is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh "hoppy" bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold color with a thin bodied white head. Aroma of malts, skunk, and grain. Flavor was a little bland... skunky corn would be as good of a description as any. Not horrible, but I won’t be rushing out to buy a sixer either.

Cannette 500 ml. 5%. Arôme de maïs, houblon. En bouche, céréale, malt et un peu d’herbes. Finale avec une très légère amertume. Bonne.

+ een pils met een aparte smaak + aroma is erg lekker, het doet me denken aan wiet + verfrissend bier - na 2 pils is de aroma en de smaak volledig weg

Can. Clear golden colour with a white head. Slightly metallic aroma of malt and hops. Taste is mostly malt. Clearly on the better side of bulk lagers.

I’m a big fan of german beer but this is very ordinary. A hoppy aroma with a somewhat bitter taste. It remonds me of beer party beer from my school days.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 A typical pale yellow pils/ helles. Some vague herbs in the aroma. Palate mild watery with semisweet maltiness. Aftertaste hints of hops, short watery finish.
