Bottle @ Gaslight Bar Shearton Addis Ababa. This beer is best enjoyed with a cigar at the Shearton in Addis. Otherwise its likely terrible.

Bottle in restaurant in Addis. Pale yellow, thin white head. Hints of honey and malt on the nose and in the mouth. Mild bitterness and dry finish. Not bad for an Ethiopian macro - certainly much better than the Meta Premium that preceded it!

330ml bottle poured into a random old fashioned glass at a restaurant. Hazy yellowish color with green hues and small white head. Cooked veggies aroma, with bread crust and light malt. Medicinal flavors overwhelm the low maltiness, cooked corn, low bitterness. Light body, OK texture, not interesting but manageable.

Bottle shared by drowland, huge thanks to Danny for this gem.....pours a hazy golden yellow with a very thin bubbly white head, the aroma is of grain and corn with a slight sourness to it, the flavor is of pure liquid corn with a burn of alcohol in the finish, yuck.

8/10/12. 12oz bottle from the gas station by my house - Stop N Shop or something of that sort - it’s a Sunoco. Hazy orange pour with a small off-white head that doesn’t lace. Slightly skunked and sweet corn and fusel aroma loaded with green apple. Sweet caramel and burnt toffee along with green apple and fusel alcohol. Ugh.

Bottle at an Eritrean speakeasy in South Tel Aviv. Pours murky golden with a big white head. Synthetic grainy aroma, bitter, lemony taste, light body, well-carbonated, faint grain finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3977) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2012
They had this one at Tana Ethiopian restaurant in Pittsburgh. +++ Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark golden-amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish with moderate tropical fruits - papaya, mango and pineapple. The flavor was bread and honey with tart and tangy mixed tropical fruits. The finish was long and tangy with lingering honey, tropical fruits and bread. Fairly full bodied. Odd but interesting.

Bottle. No head. Cloudy dark amber, looks flat. Dirty aroma of yeast and orange with hints of bubblegum. Sweet flavour. Reminder or milk and tangerine. Flat body. Has a dirty bandaid talcum dry film quality in the finish and aftertaste.

500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head that settles to a thin ring of film. Aroma is cereal grains and faint hops. Taste is light malt sweetness with a mild hop bitterness in the finish. Typical beer for this style nothing notable.
