Bottle at Xmas Eve Eve Eve. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Ther eis a very sweet honey aroma with some floral notes. Flavor is very honeyish with a nice spicy, floral hoppiness. Pretty decent for what it is.

They had this one at Tana Ethiopian restaurant in Pittsburgh. +++ Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark golden-amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish with moderate tropical fruits - papaya, mango and pineapple. The flavor was bread and honey with tart and tangy mixed tropical fruits. The finish was long and tangy with lingering honey, tropical fruits and bread. Fairly full bodied. Odd but interesting.

Bottle. No head. Cloudy dark amber, looks flat. Dirty aroma of yeast and orange with hints of bubblegum. Sweet flavour. Reminder or milk and tangerine. Flat body. Has a dirty bandaid talcum dry film quality in the finish and aftertaste.

500ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head that settles to a thin ring of film. Aroma is cereal grains and faint hops. Taste is light malt sweetness with a mild hop bitterness in the finish. Typical beer for this style nothing notable.

500ml brown bottle. Golden colour, hazy, floaties. Thin creamy ring of white foam. A bit of spotty lacing. Sweet nose, caramelly. Taste has grains, bread and caramel. Grainy finish, with a slight grassy, tangy note. Light to medium bodied, low carbonation. Was actually expecting something a lot worse, it’s drinkable, on the sweet side, horrible to look at though.

Drank out of a bottle so I couldn’t tell appearance. It had a taste that I couldn’t quite place, almost a black olive after taste.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2011 Tasted from cool gold foil Belgian-style bottle at Selam Ethiopian Restaurant in St Louis, Missouri, USA into standard pint glass. Pours a bright, clear straw color with medium white foam. Typical light lager characteristics: grainy, bready, barely perceptible hops, neutral, dry finish. Not "special," but pairs alright with spicy Ethiopian food. I always prefer to try an authentic beer at ethnic restaurants; the problem is most worldwide breweries are trying to copy mass-market light lagers.

bottle. a hazy pale gold with a small white head slow bubbles. sweet corn flakes aroma. palate is syrupy with moderate to high carbonation. the flavor is mostly sweet corny malts with a little lemon lime bite to round it out.
