Amber color, with a small white head, mild toasted, caramelized, biscuity malt, spicy pine needle nose, with a soft medicinal herbal accent, and a light candyish malty aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice sweet mellow honeyed toasty, caramel, biscuity malt, soft medicinal earthy pine needle character, with a faint leafy minty accent and with a subtle toffee note, and a hint of candied orange peel, leading towards a silken maltiness, pine needle finish.

Sample at Chambly fest.
Appearance : Clear golden with small head.
Aroma : Very piny with spices and malt.
Taste : Lots and lots of pine with light spices and light malt. Light bitterness on the finish with lots of pine.
Overall : Wow that was something special. Tastes like an infusion of coniferous needles. Quite tasty even if a bit overwhelming.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2011

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 11, 2011
My Bottom Line :
Lightly toasted malts support delicate pine, as lean caramelized sugars are diversified by earthy angles in this surprisingly quenching brew.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sheet of foam covers the veiled golden amber.
-This is definitely my favorite version of the Annedd’ale project. Quenching, bright and flavorful.
-The mouthfeel is lean and bubbly.
-Bitterness is firmer than in other versions.
-All flavors are well levelled.
On tap at the Chambly festival.
