A hazy red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is very permumated and flowery. The flavor is perfumated flowery combined with notes of berries and a dry toffee end.

(RBSG05) Clear amber body topped by a thick off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some orange/floral. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some orange, floral/earthy, light pepper. Light-medium body with a bit of stickiness.

Opalescent red amber ale with a resilinet lacing moka head. Malty aroma reminiscent of brewing day with nice nutty notes and cocoa. Very nice rich malt with good hops in finish, a bit sweet and roasted caramel. Rich bodied.

Enjoyed at the brew pub. Average red, though light, with bitterness and malt. Good bitterness, citrus. Amber with white head and lacey. Easy drinking.

The Lure:
Mango, honey and caramel all elevate the malty sweetness to near-complexity, as a cereal touch adds freshness.

The Festivities:
Sweet honeyed malt and light citrusy bitterness make for a spicy blend. Pillowy carbonation eases the quaffing, but might get boring after a while. Well-made for long sessions and conversations.

Transcendence:
The best view is definitely not towards the bottom of the staircase, but at least there is a staircase.

Pours a clear deep copper amber with a nice, lightly-lacing off-white head. Aroma is semi-sweet, toasty and enticing. Body is full and malty (at least for an amber) with a good, crisp bitter finish. This is a very nice, extremely drinkable and enjoyable amber that I wish I could keep in my fridge for occasional refreshment.

Clear orange. You can’t get much more lacing than that, this is a great sticky off-white foam. Bedondaine has really got the trick to produce those rocky heads that leave this forever-lasting collar around the glass. Aroma is earthy caramel malt, very sweet. Rooty and leafy fruity notes reminiscent of melon or cantaloup. Sweet honey hints dominate the palate while a light grassy bitterness tries to balance it all. Understated hops bring on orange suggestions. Mild almost smoky fruity finish, citrusy and closing on candy. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation as seems to be the rule at Bedondaine.

Almost clear copper body with a medium beige head. Basic caramelized malts but lots of it, basic leafy hops but lots of it. Toasted bread with caramel, some wood, mild-medium bitterness. The regular “amber” beer for the pub customers who wanna move on past the regular “blonde”. Doesn’t go off the beaten path but for the genre it has an unusually full body, packs a lot of flavours and achieves an excellent balance. Expertly brewed basic session beer that I really enjoyed. Brings a smile to my face. And I like to smile. Makes people wonder what I’m up to.
