11.04.29 12 onz @ pub clear dark red minimal white head. A: Caramel, fruity I get some grapes. F : Full body finish is sweet and medium long. O: Pretty nice session beer a bit too sweet I don’t get the usual dry finish associated with the style tough.

(automne 2007)

The pour reveals a clear ruby color with copper highlights and a medium offwhite head. Good aroma of caramel and toasted malt. Good flavor of toasted and caramel malts with a bitter finish. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. This is a nice, plush, comfy beer. I seem to be the only one so far to have really like it but I don’t mind that you guys are all wrong!

Sweet candied malt aroma, copper, with a small tan head. Soft taste of malt, hops offer some pleasant notes too. Light bodied, balanced, slightly bitter. Satisfying treat.

Brown-red color, with some reddish highlights, with a creamy tan-colored head, sweet toasted malt nose with a blackcherry fruitiness, hint of nuttiness, a nice caramel aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet toasted and caramelized malt character, with a fruity, raisiny accent, a subtle black cherryish fruitiness, a toffeeish, and dark chocolatey note, with a nutty, mellow mounthfeel, leading towards a sweet malty, chocolatey, subtle hop bitterness finish. A nice sweet quenching irish red ale, after a 37km bicycle ride till Bedondaine.
