Draught. Dark copper-brown body with a medium-sized white creamy head. Floral aroma consisting of some citrus, candy sugar, perfume, honey, and caramel malt. Cereal flavours along with honey but the spices counteract in a very natural and warming way. Delicate balance with no alcohol presence. I’m always pleasantly surprised by some of the offerings at this brewpub because I have no idea what I’m ordering and I end up with some interesting spicy concoction. Fantastic.

Largish sample at the brewpub with the Kuhnhenns, tiggmtl and ClarkVV. Deep clear rustic copper, moderate beige head...peppery-berryish (blueberry, mostly) lightly acidic floral nose....intensely spicy body, full of white and black pepper, wildflower honey, blueberries and crabapples...lightly sticky and alcoholic towards the finish, bitter/sour character softened by honey which lasts throughout an otherwise dry finish...probably my favorite from this fine establishment.

On tap at Bedondaine, the color is light amber. The aroma is of coriander. The flavor is both sweet and spicy, you can reely feel the honey and also the fruityness of oranges.Let us not forget the hops, they are there you can smell and taste them very well in this beer.

Almost-clear brown body with a medium beige head. The basis is a brown cake and roots with a light caramel coasting covered by honey and a small mix-bag of fruits. The spiciness is interesting and unusual. You’ve got the traditional coriander but also some herbal flavours I couldn’t put a name on (spicy candy type of flavour). Felt like a 5%. Great original beer. If it was bottled, mosquitoes would catch a buzz after biting me.

Carbonation faible, corps moyen.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 Coriander, oranges and honey in the very sweet and lightly spicy aroma. Clear, dark amber-copper-brown coloured body is topped with a decent, off-white head that recedes to ring with some lacing. Extremely sweet with strong orange character and plenty of honey. Coriander spiciness is pleasing in the aftertaste. Very subdued bitterness and lots of residual sugars leave this seeming overly sweet for my taste. Medium-full body with low carbonation and a smooth and rather sticky texture. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with MartinT. Resampled 3-Jun-05 with ClarkVV, the Kuhnhenns and muzzlehatch.

Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a thin offwhite head. Very appealing aroma of coriander and honey. Very enjoyable flavor of honey, coriander and mild roasted malt with a bitter finish. Light to medium body. So far I think this is this brew-pub’s flagship beer, sweet and spicy, very interesting.

BATCH 4.

Deep copper color with a nice cream-colored head. Aroma has a very good and unique balance of sweet caramel malt, honey, and coriander spice. Sweet, lightly sticky body has a pleasant spice balance and a touch of earthiness toward a smooth, yet flavorful finish.
