Dark amber color, with a small white head, with a toasted crunchy rye grainy nose, with a mild pineapple, faint mango note, with a hint of citrusy floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, toasty, caramel malt character, with a nice flowery hop, leafy, piney, cedary, mild citrusy flavor, with a faint minty accent, leading towards a caramelized malt, lingering hop minty, leafy, piney, resinous dryness finish.

My Bottom Line:
Engaging mango and pineapple hop acrobatics are lifted by caramel malts before delving into a convincing leafy, resinous bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam skirts the nearly clear amber.
-A spicy, rye-like touch adds to the grain bill’s complexity.
-The mouthfeel is comfortable, softly carbonated.
-The hop bitterness nicely lingers, but does not overwhelm.
-This does not attempt to be an American or English-style Pale Ale; it’s a nicely hopped-up Pale Ale.

Une pinte sur place, surprenant bière cuivrée, nez agréable d’agrume, pamplemousse et de céréale, l’équilibre en bouche est bien entre les houblons et le goût d’agrume si particulier.

En fût. Verre de 12 oz dégusté diretement à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de pamplemousse avec une pointe de seigle. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréales et d’agrumes avec une pointe d’ananas. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût.
