On tap at Bedondaine et Bedons ronds. The color is a dark amber with a beige head and lace. The taste is of hops cereals and berry fruits with a nice bitter finish. The aroma is not that strong, but it is of hops and sweet fruits. All in all a good I.P.A..

In short: An well malted IPA with a ton of leafy English-style hops. Differently satisfying
How: Tap at brewpub. First batch ever of this beer (summer 2009)
The look: Clear dark copper body topped by a small beige head leaving good lacing
In long: Interesting nose of leafy English-style hops but cranked up like they would never dare to do in England. Ends-up with an aroma that is a mix of leafy hops, citrus and liquorice. Big nourishing rich and round body with a blend of caramel, red liquorice and candies. The bitter finish is tasty but smooth and never aggressive. This is a new trend I really like, English style hops cranked up the American way (Three Floyds BlackHeart, Grand River Curmudgeon, etc.). Cranked up English style IPAs and Dark IPAs are the two best simultaneous trends I’ve seen since the shorter skirts and lower waist skirts.
