Dark brown pour with small head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate as expected. Nothing new here but definitely not a drain pour.

Pours with a thick dark brown head, very dark colouring tastes heavily of coffee, a bit too carbonated with a rather bitter aftertaste. Not one that I’m going to get again.

Slight dark brown head when poured tiny amount of lacing. Not much of a nose hint of burnt coffee and roasted malts. Taste is decent coffe is not overwhelming and blends in well. I would reccomend at least trying this once if you have the chance.

Pours a almost opaque black with only hints of red when held to a light. Definitely over carbonated. I can pour about 1 ounce in a pint glass and the rest is head. Head is tan and ever lasting. Smells like old coffee grounds. Taste is perhaps a bit thin. Bitterness right away. A lot of coffee and roast. My review probably reads a bit harsher than it really should be. Wish it had a bit more body.

Pours completely black, huge ever-expanding dark tan head. Aroma is rich, chocolate/coffee, roasted. Taste is the same, just much more with some pleasing vanilla. wish it were a bit thicker. Altogether a very good beer.

Bottle. The pour was a thick dark brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) frothy medium brown head that diminished for the most part to just a foamy collar, creating a little spotty lacing. Aroma was all about the coffee with a roasted malt and a sweaty yeast and having hints of chocolate and vanilla. The taste was malty and a little sweet with a nice chocolate note in the beginning then grew slightly bitter with a heavy dose of coffee and a bit of vanilla at the end. The flavor hung on for a short while and again was all about the coffee. Mouthfeel was somewhere close to full in body with a creamy, oily texture and a perky carbonation. Overall a decent tasting coffee Stout with a nice touch of vanilla and a name that fits this brew perfectly.

Bottle from StFun. Pours deep brown with a thick fluffy mocha colored head. Definitely coffee in the aroma that’s combined with vanilla extract, some caramel, and a little chocolate. The body is slightly creamy and thin with some bitter roast. The flavors consist of not so bold coffee grounds, unsweetened dark chocolate, grainy notes, and a little metallic note. Decent but nothing more.

Pours dark in color with huge dark khaki head. Nice mellow coffee aroma in the nose. Coffee flavors a little overshadowed by the bitterness and over carbonation. Still flavors are still nice.

Jesus christ I just poured a whole glass of foam. What the hell...the nose on this thing is actually very nice, lots of coffee, chocolate, a little dust...now that I have some liquid, it’s a cola brown with deep ruby. The head is toward mocha. The taste is mostly sweet, but has a substantial roasty bitterness. Palate is pretty minimal, lighter bodied, some tingle from the excessive carbonation. I don’t know why this is so goddamn foamy. When I heard Bee Creek was closing, I wanted to at least try one of their beers. This is ok, but that’s about it. The taste and palate don’t live up to the aroma, that’s for sure. And the explosive pour did not help.

Trade from drowland - thanks! Pours a deep, dark black, sticky khaki colored head that sticks around for ages and leaves a bit of clingy lacing. Aroma has some creosote notes, a hint of black coffee. Bitter flavor with some day old cold coffee, a hint of licorice and some dark unsweetened baker’s chocolate. Mouthfeel is slightly oily. Overall, not bad.
