COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed under licence from Beechams Bar, St. Helens College. This multi award winning English clear wheat beer is extremely refreshing for its style. A prominant spicy character is complemented by the classic mouth feel associated with the best wheat beers from the continent. This gives way to a lovely floral aroma which is produced by Slovenian hops.

1. Cask Stillage at the Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, Liverpool 19/02/2003 Clear golden coloured with a fruity flavour and a full malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 11/03/2005 Golden coloured fruity and very hoppy. Slightly creamy on the palate with a hint of bitterness in a dry finish.

Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Clear bronze domed with bathfoam. Weird looking for a wheat. Pleasing cask aroma dappled with light dusty spice and sickbowl citrus. Witbier in the Peeterman Artois sense. Vile at first, insinuating itself with vague peppery Belgiumness, actually very bitter bittering English hop. Alternately dull, a bit nasty and very drinkable.

A Mes rate: Cask at Bar Fringe, Manchester. Straight forward wheat beer with a hoppier flavour than usual and a swift spicy finish. Nothing to get excited about but drinkable enough.
