Poured a large creamy head which ended up minimal but mostly lasting. Dark red colour sweet malty/toffee aroma. Dark Chocolate flavour with strong copper like aftertaste. Nice beer for a cold night and an open fire.

Bottle. Deep orangey brown in colour with little head. Toffee flavours come through well. Holds falvour well throughout. Far from a typical brew choice for a young Aussie micro operation.

9 Feb 06 - Lovely sweet malt hop aroma. Cloudy medium brown- red colour, ordinary head and lacing. Sweet choc malt and hop flavour. Medium mouthfeel with malt hop finish and tangy aftertaste.

The aroma is slight with a hint of caramel. There is very little carbonation in the deep reddish-brown ale.The body is medium to full bodied with caramel and toffee flavours. A good, easy drinking session beer.

Quite a good take on the Celtic Ale, aroma is minimal which isn’t surprising for this style. Appearence is great, nice reddish brown colour with good lacing and head retention. Flavours are very yeast driven with some bread and stonefruit, finish is mainly some burnt malts and minimal bitterness.
