1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20 BrianHagmeier (282) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - MAR 1, 2008
Nice head and great hops and yeast aroma. Flavors very sweet and heavy for an American pale lager. I agree on that grape after taste.....don’t remember ever tasting any thing like that?

pours like I drank it out of the can with a bag around it. Aroma of sweet fruit and citrus, corn. Tastes similar, almost like they added a sheet or 10 of paper into the bottle and a bit of I don’t know. Finishes sweet, decent carbonation.

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN and shared by joebrew. Pours a clear golden straw brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates clean. Aroma of light corn adjunct, Ivory soap, a touch of citrus and bleach? Taste is light bodied, some bread malt with a chemically infused citrus taste that needs help. Finish is gritty, metallic, and hardy no aftertaste. No clue who this beer market this is intended for.

I was so excited this was the ice and not the light, because if I am going to drink something from the world’s largest six-pack (city brewing, refering to the 6 fermenters), it might as well be an ice beer. So previous review states that it finishes like grape, if by grape he means crap then yes, it is terrible.

I saw this at the liquor store, saw the slogan "any time is the right time", and I had to pick it up.
Grapish aftertaste, and goes down real well. This is my beer of choice right now.

From a 24 oz can. It says Hat Trick, Inc, La Crosse, WI, but we all know that means City. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is corny with some fresh molded plastic. There is also some hint of soap. The taste has some canned corn along with a little bit of paper. There is a little bit of burn in the finish, but it’s not like alcohol, more like burning wax. Possibly worse than Beer 30 Light.
