3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
625ml bottle from brewery. Hazy yellow/gold colour. On the palate i find that it is yeasty, banana and there is some bubble gum fruit that is amplified by a certain citrus rind coming from the hops. The palate shows a creamier texture with medium carbonation and a leafy bitter finish. Although it almost has a certain metallic component that goes away as the brew opens up a bit. Overall, decent stuff though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy orange yellow with a one finger white head that laces well. Nose is wheat, bananas, bubblegum and quite a bit of pepper and cloves. Light sweet start with a bit more bitterness than a typical Weizen but not overly so and a well balanced spiciness that is more subtle than the nose. Medium light mouth with active carbonation and a crisp finish. I like the additional hop character to this one.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft - Banana and some grassy hops. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Banana and a hoppy bitterness with some slight fruit notes. Not bad, the hop adds a nice refreshing dimension.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
625 mL bottle from the brewery, served in a weizen glass. Pours hazy straw-golden with a moderate, fluffy white head that mostly remains and leaves a moderate amount of fine lace. The nose has lots of clove and banana, along with peppery spice and a mild hop note. The flavour is mildlly sweet up front with banana, pale malts, wheat and clove. There is a slight citrusy hoppiness that picks up through the middle, imparting a citrus peel bitterness with just a touch of tropical fruit that lingers through to the finish. It closes out with a long, lingering citrus peel and peppery finish, with hints of banana and pale malts. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall, a reasonable hefeweizen with a surprising hoppy twist. It works fairly well; a good brew for a late summerís evening on the patio. 2014-08-13

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub. The cloudy milky honey color isnít that appetizing. Nice hoppy aroma with a good dose of wheat. Sharp carbonation, †the taste is weizen cloves, light banana with a sharp bitter hoppy bite near the finish with the mosaic dry-hopping really coming through. Once it warmed up more weizen quality came through, nice it just loses points on looks/body.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from beer academy. Hazy light brown, delicate white head. High carbonation. Aroma of yeast, mango, pineapple, banana, pepper and alcohol. Light body for the "wheatie" character. I little hot considering itís only 5.8%. Otherwise, an enjoyably balanced bittersweetness. Refreshing.

Draught at íThe Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013í. Pours a murky gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Nice aroma of Belgian yeast, citrus, hops and plenty of herbs. Flavour is yeasty, herbal and hoppy. Medium bodied. Really good, a nice Summer beer and one of the of the fest.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazed blonde weizen with a thin lacing frothy off white head. In aroma, banana, citruy hops and cloves, fruity esters. In mouth, a nice banana malt with peppery notes, floral and citrus hops, nice.

Very nice. Reminds me of the Brooklyn-Schneiders collaboration. Great hoppy head with light banana and clove. Average carbonation. Cloudy orange pour with good head and lacing. Bitter and light sour finish. Good stuff. On tap at Rhino summer fest.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A lot of yeast up front in aroma and taste, bulks up the body. When warm, getting the opposite effect: hops and then the yeast. Lacy. Interesting but certainly not the Brooklyn/Schneiderweiss version. Good drinkability.
