A very unique American style India Pale Ale. Our IPA features a dark copper color that is clear with a solid head that is off white in color. It has medium maltiness and body. Hop flavor and aroma is high with medium hop bitterness. The hop profile is very interesting as it has the standard fruity, floral and citrus like hop character that you would expect from an American IPA but ours also has tropical type flavors and aroma that makes it distinctive. Food pairing will make spicy foods hotter and counter balance foods that are very rich and sweet like desserts, caramelized meats and fatty cheeses. A portion of sales go to support the Museum of the Marine.

Medium sized off white head with good retention and lacing. Clear, dark copper hued color. Nose of mild citrus and lightly sweet malts. Body is middlin, soft carbonation, lightly oily. Grainy malt flavors up front backed by light citrus notes, grainy, bready, a bit buttery as it warms. More of an english style? Lightly sweet, bready finish with little bite. Bomber from statelineliquors.

Very nice deep copper coloured body with a crisp peach glow and a good, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of malt, copper, metal, earth, nuts and a decent amount of relatively mild, soapy hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive earthy body with a good malt kick showing some caramel sweetness and a decidedly metallic and bitter flavour from the hops and earth. Aftertaste shows a deep and pungent flavour with most of the metal and earthiness coming out and little of the nice enjoyable flavours. Overall, a decent IPA showing a slight kick, although there is more from the metallic bitterness and earthy flavours than from hops. If I did this again, Iíd pass on this beer and save my money for something else. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Logan Circle, P Street), DC on 01-September-2014 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-November-2014.

Pours a clear copper from the bottle with thin off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is piney hop over deep caramel and pale malt. Taste is way more malty, very little hop flavor at all. Definitely more toward the English variety, nothing special.

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear amber with half a finger of off-white head. Aromas of stone fruit, some tropical fruit, caramel, light floral notes. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus, toast, some tropical and stone fruit, floral and grassy notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, malty mouthfeel. Itís on the malty side which isnít my favorite but itís a solid beer.

Bomber. Poured clear, dark amber in color, nice foamy off white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts and citrus hops, combined with a bit of caramel. Taste is sweet and malty but balanced with a nice hoppy bitterness. Drinkable and enjoyable.

Serving: Draft at the taproom. Nice amber pour with a lasting off white head. Robust nose with notes of pine and citrus. Decent malt backbone with plenty of orange, pine resin, and a lasting bitterness. Medium bodied. A solid sipper.

Pours from bomber into Beer Army pint glass, immediate character evident brownish, orange hue forming off white head of foam. Aroma some what dank, caramel with fresh, wet earth. Flavour up front, bold malt character with hints of field grass, somewhat herbal. Fairly drinkable and smooth, definable not a hop bomb, IMO. Overall decent, local beer.
