A very unique American style India Pale Ale. Our IPA features a dark copper color that is clear with a solid head that is off white in color. It has medium maltiness and body. Hop flavor and aroma is high with medium hop bitterness. The hop profile is very interesting as it has the standard fruity, floral and citrus like hop character that you would expect from an American IPA but ours also has tropical type flavors and aroma that makes it distinctive. Food pairing will make spicy foods hotter and counter balance foods that are very rich and sweet like desserts, caramelized meats and fatty cheeses. A portion of sales go to support the Museum of the Marine.

Serving: Draft at the taproom. Nice amber pour with a lasting off white head. Robust nose with notes of pine and citrus. Decent malt backbone with plenty of orange, pine resin, and a lasting bitterness. Medium bodied. A solid sipper.

Pours from bomber into Beer Army pint glass, immediate character evident brownish, orange hue forming off white head of foam. Aroma some what dank, caramel with fresh, wet earth. Flavour up front, bold malt character with hints of field grass, somewhat herbal. Fairly drinkable and smooth, definable not a hop bomb, IMO. Overall decent, local beer.

Growler from the Veggie Wagon. Orange color, white head; smells of grass, citrus, hops, etc. Taste is bitter, fruity, plenty of citrus and has a pretty big malt backend to it as well. Not a bad beer really, I had never heard of this brewery before.

This brew poured a rich clear copper with a good head of thick white foam. Nose was a good aroma of cedar hops. Taste was a medium roasted malt with crisp citrus and evergreen hop notes. Clean finish. Average IPA.

Sampled at Hickory Hops 2014. What an odd set up for this one. Just one guy, one posterboard "banner". Really, no marketing whatsoever. The beer was not bad though. This IPA seemed a little on the malty side, with spruce or resiny hops.

Tap at Duckworths. Had no idea Trenton, NC had a brewery. A pretty solid IPA in NC is nothing to sneeze at.

Pint at Tyler’s Apex. Good aroma. Sweet. citrus . On the orange side. Clean brownish orange color ok head and lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Good. Nothing to wow you. Undistinguishable from many. But solid enough. Flavor might be best part. Nice sweet bitter mix.
