UPDATED: FEB 1, 2006 Good!, I think Mexican stouts would not be as good as IRish, and they are not, but it is close enough. I like it.

Pitch black pour with a light brown-tan head. The aroma is appropriately roasty and cocoaish. Dry cocoa with a touch of black licorice as well. Softly bitter with a lingering cocoaish finish. Dry and roasty. Nice Irish stout.

On tap. Pours a pitch black colour with a modest dark brown head. Aroma is quite faint, but has some nice chocoalte and dark malt notes. Taste is just a touch watery, but has none of the nasty metallic feel of some of the other Beer Factory brews. Easily the best regular beer from the brewery.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JuStuka (201) - Edo De Mex, MEXICO - SEP 1, 2008
Heavy dark color, aroma like coffee and caramel, taste like coffe and chocolate, for me the best beer brewed in beer factory.

It´s a great stout beer, the first one in Mexico, with a great heavy body, dark, with a roasted coffe aroma, cacoa, the flavor very roasted.

Stouts are hard to come by in Mexico and so i decided to try this one at the beer factory in Puebla. I was impressed with the body and the flavor as well as the overall appearance. I feel the palate is better with the vienna-style option but compared to the other stouts out there this is a fine brew and perfect for watching sports.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20 alafito (334) - tijuana, MEXICO - OCT 27, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2008 Tap at the Tjbeerfest.... Smokey, roasted and nutty. A slightly bitter brew with a very delicate and balanced taste. Although it has excelent taste and a nice rich apearance... it is suprisingly watery and thin for a stout. Chocolate and coffee apeared for me only at the finish. Easydrinking and well made comercial stout.
Re:rate: Draft at the brewery, very watery very bland.. this would be a good description of a light-stout if there was one.

Smokey coffee aroma, and dark chocolate. Dark brown with red at the sides, pours a nice toffee head. Flavour has loads of chocolate and coffee, medium bodied, very well balanced, a great bitterness. Terrific! Thanks Nekronos.
