COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Biggish dark brown head. Opaque black body goes dark brown at edges. Dark chocolate and coffee aroma with earthy burnt notes. Dry-sweet burnt resiny coffee and chocolate taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Soft, round mouthfeel. Dry burnt coffee and earth aftertaste with resiny notes. Very nice mix of thin and burnt and sweet and round. (0.5l bottle shared by Ole_R.)

Draught at KØ10. Weak sweet aroma. Black colour, very small head. The flavour has a mild chocolate note. I cannot taste much hop, but there seems to be a slightly burn anyway.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Ah! The dangers of language differences! The really nice girl serving at Beer Here was trying to explain the purpose of this beer. However for a short time I ended up tbelieving this was actually made with human breast milk! Fortunately this was cleared up by another Beer Here girl amongst much mirth! Opaque black beer. Crispish palate. Rich dark malt - a little coffee - minerally too. Not bitter. Decent.

Bottled at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very dark brown, small head. Roasty coffee aroma. Mid-sweet with soid well runded body. Like coffee with sugar and cream. Somewhat resiny finish with slight metallic edges. Doesn’t really lift.

Bottle. Pours a opague black color with no light comming through. The head is brown/tan color and looks nice and creamy. The aroma is very sweet, with alot of of roasted malt and coffee, with notes of lactose. The flavor is again quite sweet and roasted, with a nice coffee flavor. There is again also some lactose in the flavor, with a slight amount of liqourice and maybe even some vanilla, and just the slightest amount of hops. the body is medium to full, with a nice creamy and slightly dry mouthfeel. Overall a great Sweet Stout (Milk Stout), and the addition of the coffee makes it even better!
