COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Aroma is very roasty with strong blue cheese hops. Some liquorice and caramel. Flavour is dry and roasty with a mild hop note. Need to try a fresher bottle for the hops to shine I guess. Still very nice though.

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 22, 2011
Bottle (purchased in Aust, drunk in NZ). Delicious dark chocolate on both the nose and the palate. The tropical fruit from the hops isn’t overpowering but does a great job of lifting the overall flavour. A more subtle ’Black IPA’ that most these days, and all the better for it.
