On tat @fairbar, Aarhus. Deep brown body with a small tan head. Good lacings. Nose of exotic fruits and roasted caramel. Hoppy flavor of tropical fruits, citrus and roasted malts. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice bitter finish. Black IPA is one of my favorites but I think this one needs more roasted malts.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark amber, average and mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, fruity, lots of piney + Nelson Sauvin hoppyness, light caramel. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, lots of piney hoppyness, light roastiness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, lots of piney hoppyness witch gets little soapy and harsh. Nicely hopped 4,7% black IPA, really fine Nelson Sauvin in the aroma – although this lacks in the flavor (aroma and flavor not in balance). Interesting but not top-notch.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a dark mahogony with a small tan head leaving so fantastic lacing all the way down the glass. Aroma is huge piney hops with a touch of toasted malts. Piney hops leave a nice linger in the mouth. Mouth feel is light and slightly resinous. Good beer

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 9C. Dark brown with an inch of beige head. Very fruity aroma with gooseberries, grass clippings, lychees and darkish caramel. Thinnish body. Taste has a little burnt malt, chocolate, licorice and the mentioned fruit. Fruity finish with growing roasted bitterness. As usual with sort of thing some of the hop aromatics are somewhat obscured, but in this case the fruity bits of the Kiwi hops remain whilst ironically the cat’s piss / cleaning fluid is mostly buried.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Dark brown with hazy amber edges. topped with a low firm tan-colored head. Big whooping hop aroma blooming pine-trees, resin and grapefruit in the aroma with roasted and chocolaty undertones. Medium-bodied with quite pungent hop flavours of pine and resin, then comes solid notes of roastd malts and mild coffee. Really long piney and grapefruity, almost inky finish of roasted malts with peppered chocolate. Me like. A lot! Brewed by a genius (whoever he is). ;)!
