COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2014 Aroma of pine, citrus, hops, grassy notes and you can feel the darker touch in there too. The taste add some roasted malts, coffee and light smoke character. Love the concept .

from erzbierschof.ch - dark ruby-brown in colour and with a little dark beige foam left, nice lacework; aroma of black chocolate and walnuts; quite sweet and with a medium malt backbone, some tartness and a quite dry bitter and roasted chocolatey aftertaste - charming

Bottle (50cl) at Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri, Oslo. Murky, dark brown colour with a red hue. Large light beige head with good retention. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, roasted malt. Medium body (very decent considering the ABV), average carbonation. Taste has a nice complex bitterness, both from IPA-style hops and a tannic berry element (a bit like crowberries). Also a stout-like dryness in the aftertaste.
